What is LCLA?
Lubavitch Chinuch Los Angeles (LCLA) is the umbrella organization uniting Cheder Menachem and Bais Chaya Mushka—two beloved schools sharing one sacred mission: to provide every child with an outstanding Torah, Chassidic, and general education in a warm and nurturing environment. In 2019, the board of Cheder Menachem accepted responsibility for Bais Chaya Mushka, beginning a thoughtful process of bringing the schools together. Over the following years, their leadership, administration, resources, and vision became increasingly integrated. In 2026, this partnership entered its next chapter with the creation of the LCLA identity, allowing both schools to preserve their unique character while working as one stronger organization. By streamlining resources, expanding capabilities, coordinating fundraising, and sharing expertise, LCLA is better positioned to serve our students, support our families, strengthen our educators, and build a vibrant future for Chabad chinuch in Los Angeles.
